Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on Java 11+ with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, Git, Maven and JUnit.
• Solid React experience for frontend tasks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is essential.
• Portuguese proficiency at C1 level or native is required.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a challenging and impactful project within a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications, contributing to both backend and frontend components while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment.

As part of this role, you will participate in the full software development lifecycle, delivering scalable and secure solutions that support critical business operations. The ideal candidate combines strong Java backend expertise with solid React development skills and enjoys working in collaborative environments focused on quality and continuous improvement.

In This Role, You Will

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance frontend solutions using React.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Work with Oracle databases, developing SQL and PL/SQL components.
• Create automated unit tests and support quality assurance practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical teams in Agile ceremonies.
• Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices.
• Support application deployment, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to the modernization and continuous improvement of the application landscape.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java 11+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, Git, Maven, and JUnit.
• Solid experience developing modern web applications using React.
• Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies.
• Portuguese proficiency at C1 level or native speaker.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD practices. (Nice to Have)
• Experience with application and systems integration. (Nice to Have)
• Knowledge of the Infarmed technology stack, including EJB and PrimeFaces. (Nice to Have)
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical regulation, public administration, or other highly regulated industries. (Nice to Have)
• Familiarity with JBoss and application servers. (Nice to Have)
