Capgemini Engineering in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and deliver scalable, secure software solutions for complex healthcare environments. You will contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve our backend platforms.

You will work with Java and Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, collaborating with architects and engineers to drive CI/CD, observability, and robust integrations across systems.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Fluent Portuguese and professional English.
• Experience with REST APIs, messaging/event-driven architectures, CI/CD, and cloud-native patterns.

• Experience in software design and implementation of scalable solutions.
• Understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and modern development practices.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, testing, and security practices.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluent Portuguese and professional English.
