Candidates should have over 5 years of commissioning experience, particularly in the data center environment, and technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

The role involves leading the commissioning lifecycle, managing complexity, and ensuring systems are designed and delivered to the highest standards. A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills are essential.

This is a full-time position with a regular employee status.

The Opportunity

We will be looking for experienced Commissioning Engineers and Commissioning Managers — both permanent hires and contractors — to join a major hyperscale data center project near Lisbon.

This is a chance to be part of a high-performing, multidisciplinary team delivering mission-critical infrastructure at scale. You will play a central role in ensuring systems are designed, tested, and delivered to the highest standards — contributing directly to the reliability and performance of a landmark project.

Your Impact

Lead and manage the full commissioning lifecycle

Develop commissioning strategies, plans, schedules, and test procedures

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on certification and quality objectives

Perform inspections, testing, and reporting across systems

Support technical design reviews and construction-phase commissioning activities

Represent the commissioning perspective in project and client meetings

Oversee factory testing, third-party validations, and final sign-offs

Provide technical expertise in risk management and system performance

Collaborate closely with contractors and project teams to deliver integrated solutions

5+ years of commissioning experience (data center experience highly valued)
