iTRTech Group in Portugal is seeking a senior Connectivity & Network Engineer for a remote position. You will troubleshoot and design transport and mobile backhaul networks, covering legacy and cloud-native environments.

The role requires 5+ years in transport network engineering, strong routing knowledge (OSPF/IS-IS/BGP/MPLS), experience with HLD/LLD, and familiarity with major vendors. English and Portuguese required; compensation range €5500–€5800 gross monthly.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of transport network engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking protocols and routing.
• Experience with HLD/LLD documentation and BTS backhaul.
• Cloud-based transport architectures familiarity.
• CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP or Nokia NRS certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot complex transport network issues and incidents.
• Design network enhancements, routing configs, redundancy and HA.
• Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs for backhaul and networks.
• Assess performance, scalability, and reliability; support upgrades.
• Collaborate with RAN, Core, IP and Operations teams; document tasks.
• Provide support for KPI analysis and mobile backhaul across 2G/3G/4G/5G.
