Vodafone is seeking an experienced IP Network Operations Engineer to join its Network Operations team in Lisbon, Portugal. You will operate and support the IP network, troubleshoot incidents, and drive improvements while contributing to automation and documentation.

The role requires strong IP networking knowledge and hands-on Cisco/security experience, with a hybrid work model and international mobility opportunities.

Qualificações

• Strong knowledge of IP networking technologies including TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• Hands-on experience configuring Cisco environments (ACI/ASA/ISE).
• Experience with network security solutions (Fortinet, Check Point).
• Ability to diagnose complex issues across LAN/WAN/Data Centre/IP transport.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and support Vodafone's IP network infrastructure with focus on availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents within SLAs.
• Execute network changes, upgrades, and migrations.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive continuous service improvement.
• Support automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and procedures; assess risks of changes.
• Escalate critical service risks when required.
