GulfDesign UAE seeks a Senior Commercial Architect for its Funchal office to oversee design and construction of commercial buildings. You will provide creative, innovative solutions aligned with client business goals and lead projects from concept to completion.

You will mentor junior architects, ensure compliance with building codes, and manage budgets and timelines while collaborating with clients, contractors, and team members to deliver high-quality results.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other relevant software.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors and team members.

As a Senior Commercial Architect in our Funchal office you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and construction of commercial buildings. Your main role will be to provide creative and innovative solutions that meet our clients needs and align with their business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to completion ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of projects
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs develop project briefs and present design proposals that meet their requirements and budget
• Manage project budgets and timelines ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed upon parameters
• Conduct site visits and communicate with contractors to ensure designs are implemented accurately
• Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on design concepts technical details and best practices
• Stay updated on industry trends new materials and building codes to incorporate into designs
• Liaise with local authorities to obtain necessary permits for construction projects

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial architecture
• Proficiency in AutoCAD SketchUp Revit or other relevant software
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients contractors and team members
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
