Commercial Architect vacancy in Faro Portugal

Junior Commercial Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior Commercial Architect to join our team in Faro. As a Junior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, and restaurants. You will work closely with our senior architects to conceptualize and create designs that meet client requirements and adhere to building codes. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience to gain hands-on experience and grow within a dynamic architecture firm. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for commercial architecture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior architects to develop design concepts for commercial buildings
• Conduct site visits to gather information on existing structures and analyze potential building sites
• Prepare detailed drawings and 3D models using computer-aided design software
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and construction documents
• Research building materials, construction techniques, and building codes
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field
• Knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD software
• Strong visualization skills with the ability to create detailed drawings and 3D models
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: $1200/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Faro (Portugal)

Experience required: Freshers are welcome to apply. Some experience through internships or part-time work is preferred.
