Consort Group is hiring a Senior Business Analyst in Lisbon, Portugal. You will bridge business needs with technology solutions within a data transformation program, managing requirements end-to-end in an Agile environment.

You will gather and document requirements, create user stories, and coordinate testing. The role emphasizes data quality, API usage, and data virtualization to deliver business value.

Qualificações

You have at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT and data-driven environments.
You bridge business needs and technology solutions and work in Agile environments.
You facilitate workshops, coordinate testing activities, and drive end-to-end requirements.
You analyze data quality and influence integration, APIs and data virtualization.

Responsabilidades

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
Design optimized workflows by analyzing As-Is and To-Be processes.
Define and coordinate testing strategies across the project lifecycle.
Ensure traceability between business requirements, test cases, and delivered solutions.
Support users during validation, deployment and adoption phases.

Senior Business Analyst

This is your mission

Are you passionate about data transformation, business analysis, and Agile product delivery? Then this position is for you.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging business needs and technology solutions within a strategic data transformation program. You will manage the complete lifecycle of requirements, from discovery and analysis to testing, deployment, and user adoption.

Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, data experts, and development teams to modernize data ecosystems, improve data quality, and enhance access to critical business information through emerging technologies such as APIs and data virtualization.

Build side

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
Analyze existing ("As-Is") processes and design optimized ("To-Be") workflows.
Contribute to the evolution of data ecosystems and integration platforms.
Support the implementation of modern data technologies, including APIs and data virtualization solutions.
Manage and prioritize product backlogs to ensure delivery of business value and MVP objectives.
Collaborate closely with development teams to clarify requirements and validate proposed solutions.
Drive process optimization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, data consistency, and time-to-market.

Run side

Define and coordinate testing strategies across the project lifecycle.
Design Integration System Testing (IST) scenarios to validate complex data flows and interfaces.
Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business users.
Manage defect tracking and resolution using Agile delivery tools.
Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies, and perform root‑cause analysis.
Ensure full traceability between business requirements, test cases, and delivered solutions.
Support users throughout validation, deployment, and adoption phases.
Produce functional documentation and maintain project knowledge repositories.

You have at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst within IT and data‑driven environments. You enjoy analyzing complex business challenges, facilitating discussions between business and technical teams, and transforming requirements into practical solutions.
