Data Engineer

Are you passionate about data engineering, analytics platforms, and transforming complex data into business value? Then this position is for you.
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust data solutions, building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and supporting business intelligence initiatives within a modern data ecosystem.
Build side:
Design and develop high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines to feed enterprise data warehouses.
Build and optimize scalable data integration processes using industry best practices.
Design data models, schemas, and data architectures that support reporting and analytics needs.
Develop and maintain solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
Automate data flows and deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
Contribute to the evolution of Business Intelligence and analytics platforms.
Implement data quality, reliability, and performance improvements across the data landscape.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient data solutions.
Run side:
Maintain and support existing data platforms and analytics solutions.
Troubleshoot data processing issues and optimize pipeline performance.
Provide support and best practice guidance on analytics and visualization tools.
Monitor data workflows and ensure operational stability across environments.
Assist end users in maximizing the value of reporting and data analysis platforms.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and platform enhancements.
Support releases and deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
Mentor junior team members and share technical expertise within the team.
This is your background
You have at least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, working on enterprise-scale data integration and analytics projects. You enjoy designing efficient data architectures, solving complex data challenges, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

This is your expertise:
Strong experience in Data Engineering (5+ years).
Advanced proficiency in SQL.
Strong programming skills in Python and/or PySpark.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Alteryx, or equivalent.
Experience building and maintaining Data Warehouse solutions.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices and release automation.
Experience with data modelling and database design.
Familiarity with Dataiku, Tableau, and/or Apache NiFi is a plus.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira is a plus.
Banking or financial services experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of risk reporting or credit risk environments is a plus.
