Consort Group in Portugal is seeking an IT Project Manager / Production Support Manager to lead infrastructure projects and ensure production readiness across applications. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, timelines, and governance while driving cloud adoption in a multinational environment.

Location: Porto or Lisbon, hybrid (50%). Permanent contract. English required at C1 level. This role offers professional growth, training, and a comprehensive HR package.

Qualificações

• At least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, production support, or project management.
• Experience bridging technical and business teams in multinational environments.
• Fluent English (C1) communication and strong stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead infrastructure and application production projects from initiation to delivery.

IT Project Manager / Production Support Manager

This is your mission

Are you passionate about IT infrastructure, production support, cloud transformation, and large-scale project delivery? Then this position is for you.

As an IT Project Manager / Production Support Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure projects while maintaining operational excellence across business-critical applications and services.

Operating in an international environment, you will act as the key interface between business stakeholders, application support teams, infrastructure experts, and project contributors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with governance standards.

Build side:

• Lead infrastructure and application production projects from initiation to delivery.

• Coordinate technical teams and stakeholders across infrastructure, middleware, cloud, and application domains.

• Define project roadmaps, milestones, governance structures, and delivery plans.

• Drive cloud adoption and transformation initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.

• Ensure project compliance with architecture standards, resilience requirements, security policies, and governance frameworks.

• Manage project risks, dependencies, budgets, and resource planning.

• Coordinate technical implementations, migrations, decommissioning activities, and obsolescence remediation initiatives.

• Facilitate steering committees, project reviews, and executive reporting.

• Ensure production readiness and smooth transition to operational support teams.

Run side:

• Provide Level 3 production support coordination for critical applications and infrastructure services.

• Monitor operational performance, service levels, KPIs, and support activities.

• Define and validate SLAs and operational governance processes.

• Collaborate with Application Support and Run-the-Bank teams to maintain service continuity.

• Support monitoring and observability initiatives to improve platform reliability.

• Coordinate incident resolution and problem management activities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through DevOps, automation, and cloud best practices.

• Participate in critical deployments and maintenance activities when required, including off-hours interventions.

You have at least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, application production support, or technical project management within complex enterprise environments.

You enjoy bridging technical and business teams, driving transformation initiatives, and delivering robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
