Job summary
Axians Portugal is seeking a Senior Application Production Support professional to ensure stability, availability, and continuous improvement of mission-critical applications in production. You will handle incidents, monitor systems, and coordinate releases with development and infra teams to maintain service continuity and optimal user experience.
The role requires strong ITIL/ITSM practices, deep troubleshooting across applications, databases, and OS, plus a proactive focus on automation,
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of professional experience in Application Production Support, IT Operations, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Sybase).
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and UNIX environments.
Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for production incidents, requests, problems, and inquiries.
- Provide technical and functional support to users and stakeholders.
- Monitor application and infra layers for availability, stability, and performance.
