the company is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design and ship AI systems at the company’s scale, powering incident management AI agents, event intelligence, and LLM-powered capabilities across the platform. You will own the full lifecycle from framing problems to reliable scaling.

You will work with modern AI — LLMs, agents, and retrieval — and build resilient, high-throughput systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI features.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent building and operating production distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI systems in production — LLM-powered applications, agents, or retrieval.
• Strong programming fundamentals and comfort moving between systems and AI/application code.
• Solid grounding in applied AI fundamentals: prompting, retrieval, agent patterns, and evaluation/guardrails for LLM behavior.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containers, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Pragmatic, reliability-minded mindset focused on scalable, correct systems and clear trade-offs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to raise team and system quality.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build AI-powered features — LLM agents, retrieval, and event intelligence — for high-volume, real-time streams from framing to production.
• Architect and own the systems behind them: agent orchestration, retrieval pipelines, tool/API integrations, and low-latency inference at scale.
• Ensure consistency, throughput, fault tolerance, and cost across services under bursty load.
• Move AI features from prototype to production with evaluation, guardrails, observability, and continuous improvement loops.
• Collaborate with platform, product, and research teams to define good outcomes and integrate AI into existing services.
• Mentor teammates and help shape the team's technical direction.
