Job summary

Rivan Industries in Portugal is seeking a Land Manager to accelerate our origination strategy for renewable energy parks. You will work with land agents, negotiate access, and secure long-term exclusivity on sites while aligning with UK and Spain teams.

The role requires 5+ years in land origination for large-scale renewables, a strong grasp of energy markets, and the ability to travel. A clean driving license is essential and remote work in Portugal is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in land origination for renewables or infrastructure.
• English at C1 standard.
• Willing to travel and meet land agents and landowners.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field.
• Clean driving license.
• Strong first-principles thinking and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential sites for renewable projects.
• Negotiate Heads of Terms and Option Agreements with landowners.
• Secure easements, wayleaves, and other land rights.
• Collaborate with legal and development teams to de-risk agreements.
• Maintain records of land agreements and communications.
• Support pre-submission Land Title boundary reviews and community engagement.
