Job summary

Careerxtra is seeking a Travel Manager with GDS experience to support business travelers remotely in Portugal or hybrid in Lisbon. You will be the primary contact, solving travel and technical issues while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires GDS proficiency (Sabre/Amadeus/Galileo), strong English skills, and a background in customer service. Flexibility for rotating schedules and a dynamic, international team are offered.

Qualifications

• Professional fluency in English (C1+) is required.
• Proven experience using GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) is mandatory.
• Background in customer service, preferably in travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors.
• Metrics-driven with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Gmail, Zendesk, Slack and Salesforce is a bonus.
• Availability for rotating schedules (Mon-Sun, 7 AM–10 PM).

• Provide dedicated and personalized support to business travelers.
• Proactively solve travel and technical issues across queries and emergencies.
• Stay updated with travel industry knowledge to deliver best-in-class service.
• Collaborate with global teams and share feedback for product/process improvements.
