Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Patient Onboarding Agent (Customer Support) based in Portugal.

This long-term, remote contractor role supports patients through onboarding for at-home sleep testing and oral appliance treatment. You will manage a 100+ patient caseload, coordinate telehealth scheduling, impression kit delivery/return, and handoff to manufacturing with careful documentation and HIPAA-compliant practices.

Qualifications

Experience in customer or patient support, call centers, or related environments.
Ability to de-escalate sensitive conversations (cancellations, refunds, billing).
Strong organizational skills to manage a high-volume caseload.
Excellent written and spoken English for multi-channel communication.

Responsibilities

Own onboarding journeys from purchase to telehealth scheduling and kit return.
Manage 100+ patient caseloads and prioritize activities daily.
Respond to phone, SMS, and email within SLAs and prevent delays.
Coordinate with insurance, clinical, sales, and manufacturing teams.
Guide customers through impression kit completion and return.
Handle cancellations, refunds, and billing with empathy and professionalism.
Route medical questions to clinical teams and document interactions in Salesforce.
Protect patient privacy per HIPAA and internal procedures.
Identify recurring issues and share insights to improve SOPs.
