Job summary

Mercor is seeking an HR Expert for a fully remote contract role. You will lead HR initiatives and design talent programs across acquisition, planning, relations, performance, and compensation in a multinational context.

Responsibilities include building scenarios with HRIS tools (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), ATS, and benchmarking software (Radford, Mercer). Strong HR compliance knowledge for US and EU regimes is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as HR leader or CHRO at a major company or HR consulting firm.
• Direct ownership of talent programs, employee relations, or compensation design.
• Fluency in HR tooling and methodologies and understanding of employment law compliance.
• Rubric or training authorship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Construct HR scenarios spanning talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits design.
• Build tasks across recruiting, talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, HR compliance, employment law, and organizational development.
• Develop scenarios involving tools such as HRIS (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), applicant tracking systems, and benchmarking tools (Radford, Mercer).
• Apply HR methodologies to US laws (Title VII, FLSA, ADA, state law) and EU directives.
• Author rubrics that distinguish authentic HR judgment from generic textbook recall.
