Job summary

Loka is seeking an experienced HX Operations professional to own end-to-end HR operations for Western Europe from Lisbon. You will ensure compliance, payroll coordination, contracts, and vendor relationships while aligning local realities with global HX Ops standards.

In this hybrid role, you\'ll spend two days in the Lisbon office and remotely the rest, handling onboarding, offboarding, salary actions, benefits, and regional projects with autonomy and strong judgement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in HR Operations, People Operations or HR Generalist roles with end-to-end ownership.
• Hands-on payroll coordination, benefits administration, contracts and compliance experience.
• Ability to prioritize, judge urgency, risk and cost, not just admin tasks.
• Experience in a service-oriented internal HR function.
• Comfort working autonomously in a remote-first, distributed org.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end HX Operations for Western Europe: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and payroll coordination.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, expenses and benefits with Finance and local providers.
• Manage salary-related processes with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Run Lisbon office operations: space, supplies, equipment, vendors and invoicing.
• Oversee vendor and contract relationships for the region; ensure local compliance.
• Identify process gaps and help build fixes with docs, workflows, and automation.
• Support internal programs and employee experience initiatives as needed.
