Human Made Limited is seeking an Engineering Manager to balance technical oversight with people management, drive best practices in software development, and support the wellbeing and professional development of engineers. You will work closely with delivery and commercial teams to ensure smooth squad execution.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a remote, async-first approach. Employment offers £55k–£65k per year with global remote eligibility across the EMEA region.

Qualificações

• Experience leading a team of engineers, ideally in an agency environment.
• Excellent communication, team-building and organizational skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (CEFR C1 or equivalent).
• Remote-working experience with async-first culture.
• Broad knowledge of technologies used by the company, including WordPress, React and APIs.

Responsabilidades

• Complete performance reviews and 1:1s for reports, translating feedback into development plans.
• Lead a cross-functional squad with clear goals and a culture of accountability.
• Collaborate with other engineering managers and discipline leads for consistency and alignment.
• Stay current with engineering best practices, WordPress, React, APIs and architecture.
• Support engineers’ growth through coaching, mentoring and remote collaboration.
