Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Customer Onboarding Specialist based in Portugal. You will guide new partners through onboarding, collect documents, verify information, and coordinate with Compliance and Sales to ensure a smooth start.

This remote role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple onboarding cases while maintaining accuracy and timelines. Experience in fintech or cryptocurrency onboarding is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in onboarding or related customer-facing roles.
• Strong attention to detail with experience reviewing documents and maintaining records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain processes clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple onboarding cases and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary onboarding contact for new partners, explaining requirements and guiding through the process.
• Collect KYC documents, ownership details, and required materials per internal procedures.
• Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, and follow up as needed.
• Enter and maintain partner information in CRM and internal systems.
• Coordinate with Compliance to review documents and resolve information requests.
• Monitor progress of onboarding cases, identify delays, and inform stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success for seamless handoff.
• Handle confidential information per privacy and security procedures.
• Identify recurring onboarding challenges and suggest process improvements.
• Track activity, timelines, and case progress for reporting.
