We Are META is seeking a seasoned Release Manager to orchestrate complex release workflows across multi-team environments. The role emphasizes expert/git proficiency, rapid conflict resolution, and high-stakes decision-making to ensure smooth deployments.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in release management, strong Agile problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a hybrid model with two days per week in Lisbon, Portugal.

• Requires expert-level mastery of Git architecture, branching strategies, and repository management to lead release workflows across complex, multi-team environments.
• Must demonstrate the ability to diagnose and resolve complex Git merge conflicts rapidly under tight production deadlines.
• Applies rigorous precision to every release execution, reflecting a clear understanding of the high-risk nature of production deployments.
• Manages multiple concurrent release workflows simultaneously while maintaining full visibility of the overall release landscape.
• Proven track record of making swift, analytical decisions in high-stakes release scenarios where delays carry significant operational consequences.
• Communicates complex technical release details clearly and efficiently to diverse stakeholders, including non-technical audiences, through structured meetings and documentation.
• Demonstrates agile problem-solving by proactively identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks before they impact release timelines.
• Fluency in English (B2)
• Availability for Hybrid model, 2 times a week based in Lisbon
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
