We Are META in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Java & Angular Developer to build robust Java backends and dynamic Angular front-ends. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of software development experience, strong Java and Web APIs skills, and familiarity with Python and CI/CD tooling.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Web APIs.
• Familiarity with Python and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with Maven, Jenkins, XLDeploy, XLRelease, Bitbucket.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Docker in team environments.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of microservices, SOA, and modern software architectures.
• Test-driven development and Agile teamwork are required.
• Fluency in English (B2 level or higher) is mandatory.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 6+ years of professional experience within Software Development;
• Professional experience with Java and WebAPIs;
• Familiarity with Python;
• Understanding of Maven, Jenkins, XLDeploy, XLRelease and Bitbucket;
• Experience with support technologies like Git, Jira, GitLab pipelines, Docker, among others;
• Understanding of data manipulation technologies (scripts, SQL language, relational databases);
• Familiarity with software architectures styles (Monolith, SOA, Microservices) and patterns (Layered, Onion, Hexagonal, Clean Code);
• Familiarity with test-driven development;
• Understanding of containers is a plus;
• Experience working in Agile environments;
• Fluency in English is mandatory (B2 Level or above);
• Availability for a hybrid regime, 2/week, in Lisbon (candidate has to be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit).
