Job summary

Airbus Portugal SA is seeking a Procurement Purchasing Assistant to manage ordering activities for Procurement Commodities across Europe, including Portugal. This role involves following procurement processes and strategies to ensure efficient sourcing and supplier collaboration.

You will interact with internal customers, buyers and suppliers, utilize SAP and Coupa, and support a dynamic, multicultural team with a hybrid work model in a modern office at Parque das Nações.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French.
• French, Spanish or German would be a plus.
• Enjoy a dynamic, multicultural environment with a lot of different tools and variety of products and services.
• Digital acumen and reliability at work.

Position Summary:

The Procurement Purchasing Assistant manages ordering activities for Procurement Commodities within France, Germany, Spain, the UK and Portugal. This also includes operational sourcing activities following the Procurement processes and strategies.

Essential Functions:

• Review of Purchase Requests (PRs)
• Purchase Order (PO) creation / update and follow up of POs
• Operational Sourcing
• Service Desk activities (provide support to internal stakeholders)
• Maintenance of info records (e.g. catalogues)
• Communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders (internal customers, buyers)
• Use of Airbus ERP Systems (SAP)
• Use of other specific tools (Coupa)

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement is a plus

• Be customer focused, understand priorities = knows how to prioritize in case of emergencies
• Eager to learn to work with new tools / be open to change and to continuous improvement
