Airbus Portugal SA is seeking a professional to draft and negotiate procurement contracts, ensure compliance, and support all contract life cycle activities. You will collaborate with buyers across the organization to optimize agreements and manage risks.

The role demands strong negotiation, clear communication, and the ability to operate in a multicultural, international environment with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5 years' degree or more in Business, Legal, Economics, Engineering.
• Experience in Procurement is desirable.
• Experience in establishing & negotiating contracts is desirable.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English sufficient to fully engage in negotiations.
• Fluency in French, German or Spanish is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally sometimes on short notice.

Responsabilités

• Drafting new standard procurement contracts integrating all requirements.
• Revision and optimization of existing standard contracts.
• Prepare and conduct negotiations of contracts with procurement buyers.
• Develop and negotiate complex amendments and settlements during contract life cycle.
• Sign contract validation forms with executive summary, deviations, risks and opportunities.
• Provide contract analysis, drafting, design and negotiations for other Company functions.
• Advise stakeholders on contractual implications of internal projects (confidentiality/IP).
• Develop and deliver Procurement Academy trainings; coach junior buyers.

Description du poste

Drafting of new standard procurement contracts integrating all relevant requirements (e.G. economic, commercial, technological, legal, risk management).

Revision, optimization, further development of existing standard procurement contracts.

Preparation of negotiation; contract draftingand execution of negotiations of contracts together with the procurement commodity buyers.

Evolution of existing contractual documents: preparation, drafting and negotiation of e.G. complex contract amendments and settlement agreements during the life cycle of the contract together with the Procurement Commodity Buyers.

Signing of the contract validation form which shall contain the key elements of the contract (executive summary, main deviations, risks and opportunities of the contract).

Contractual analysis of agreements during the contract administration phase and/or in case of disagreements / potential forthcoming disputes between Company and suppliers concerning existing procurement contracts.

Provision of specialized support and expertise in contract analysis, -drafting, - design and -negotiations for Company functions other than Procurement (except aircraft sales contracts).

Advising internal stakeholders on contractual implications of internal (improvement) projects (e.G. confidentiality or intellectual property aspects).

Development of new and further development of existing Procurement Academy trainings; coaching and training-on-the-job of junior buyers in the areas of contracts and negotiations.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:
