Airbus Portugal SA is seeking a seasoned Procurement professional based in Lisbon to lead sourcing, tendering, and contract management for Personal Protective Equipment and related supply activities. You will coordinate with cross-border teams across France, Germany, Spain and Portugal, ensuring compliance and optimal supplier performance.

This fixed-term position requires a strong background in procurement and contract management, with fluency in English.

Qualificações

• Procurement background of 2–3 years.
• Experience as a buyer or in supply chain/logistics close to contract management.
• Strong Tendering, Negotiation, Contracting and SRM skills.
• Basic knowledge in Export Control and Sustainability laws.
• Fluent in English; French and/or German are a plus.
• Familiar with Airbus procurement tools (Coupa, SAP, E-Proc, Airsupply) and Google Suite.
• Delivery-focused with strong customer-satisfaction orientation; team player; comfortable with remote work.
• Awareness of ethics and Airbus compliance in supplier selection processes.

Job Description

Your Mission

This opportunity to join the General Procurement organization within Industrial Consumables and Cleaning sub-commodity.

You will be in charge of the Personal Protective Equipment sourcing and contracting for the Airbus group worldwide down to catalogues implementation and maintenance.

The position also includes part of operational support during the ordering and invoicing phases.

Main Buyer responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing activity , manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance within Company requirements (Internal - External). You will have, in particular, to complete a major on-going call for tender for all plants across Europe.
• Implement and monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders to achieve throughout the contract life cycle a complete application of terms and conditions to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost...).
• Manage the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.
• Contribute to the Multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have

• The jobholder will have a Procurement background of 2 to 3 years;
• Experience as a buyer or in a role involving Supply Chain / Logistics activity close to contract management;
• In terms of Hard skills, the jobholder will demonstrate a strong ability in Tendering process, Negotiation, Contracting and SRM (supplier relationship management).
• He/she will bring basic knowledge in Export Control and Sustainability laws and regulations.
• He/she will demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, and will be fluent in English both written and verbal. French and/or German are a clear plus.
• He/she will be easily adaptable to the Airbus Procurement tools (Coupa suite, SAP, E-Proc and Airsupply) and will be used to Google suite
• In terms of Soft skills, the jobholder will be "delivery" oriented with a strong focus on customers’ satisfaction.
• He/she will have a strong ability to convince and influence, communicate effectively.
• He/she will be a team player and will be comfortable with remote working. He/she will always act with integrity and equity in the supplier selection process, in full compliance with processes and regulations.
• A specific attention will be brought to the Ethics of the jobholder. In his/her role, he/she is engaging Airbus legally, financially and in terms of image.

For this position based in Lisbon, Portugal , you will interact with the team members located in France , Germany , Spain and Portugal as well as with Internal Customers located in the 47 industrial sites of the group across the world .
