Job summary

Affinity, a Portuguese technology consulting company with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Óbidos, is seeking an L1/L2 Production Support Specialist for banking applications. You will work in a hybrid mode, joining a team that supports critical banking ops across multiple environments.

You should have a strong Linux/Unix background, PL/SQL and Oracle DB experience, and hands-on skills with Dynatrace, Kubernetes and Docker. English proficiency and flexible shift availability are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of core banking operations.
• Proven experience in L1/L2 application production support within a banking environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix, preferably Red Hat.
• Experience with PL/SQL and Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker.
• Practical knowledge of Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Experience in incident management, application monitoring and production issue resolution.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Availability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 production support for banking applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents promptly.
• Monitor applications using Dynatrace and other tools.
• Collaborate with Linux/Unix, DB and DevOps teams.
• Participate in 24/7 shift coverage.
