Decskill is expanding and seeks talented professionals to join the Application Production Support team in Lisbon. The role focuses on providing L1/L2 application support for banking group applications, troubleshooting production incidents, and ensuring system reliability.

You'll work with Linux/Unix, Oracle SQL/PL/SQL, and middleware like MQ and Tomcat, plus modern tech such as Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Docker and Ansible.

Qualificações

• Experience providing L1/L2 Application Support in a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of core banking operations.
• Proven troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
• Experience supporting business-critical production applications.
• Expert knowledge of Linux/Unix and Shell Scripting.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehouses and Data Platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Autosys.
• Working knowledge of middleware technologies such as MQ and Tomcat.
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing technologies.
• Experience with Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Understanding of ITIL practices and service management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts and participate in on-call rotations.
• Good level of english.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Application Production Support for group applications and tools.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and application support activities.
• Work in shift rotations and participate in on-call support.
• Prioritize and deliver high-quality support to business teams by troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
• Analyze system, middleware, and application logs to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Monitor application services, generate reports, and drive continuous improvements in service quality and availability.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives by addressing recurring issues through problem management and automation.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) tests and Live Play exercises.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the stability and reliability of production applications.
