Decskill is growing its IT operations team in Portugal and seeks an experienced DevOps & Cloud Application Production Support specialist. The role focuses on 24/7 production support in a banking environment, handling incidents, log analysis, and automation to improve stability.

You will work across Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/IBM Cloud), container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI tools (Jenkins) while collaborating with global teams and benefiting from a people-first culture.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations or Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on Cloud experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, CLI and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash.
• Experience with PL/SQL.
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring tools.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with CI, especially Jenkins.
• Experience with IBM Cloud, AWS and/or Azure.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Core Banking / Banking Operations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L1/L2 Application Production Support in a banking environment.
• Manage incidents and service requests within defined service levels.
• Perform system, middleware and application log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Monitor application services and contribute to service availability and stability.
• Participate in 24/7 shifts, on-call rotations, weekends and public holidays.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Live Play activities.
• Perform production readiness checks and contribute to risk mitigation.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles and operational documentation.
• Participate in and validate Knowledge Transfer sessions.
• Support and train other operations team members.
• Contribute to service improvement, automation and operational efficiency.
• Produce operational reports and escalate risks and issues.
