Job summary

Decskill seeks a Technical Engineer to deliver Level 3 production support and lead IT projects across infrastructure, middleware and applications. You will coordinate technical teams, manage budgets, and ensure delivery within time and quality constraints.

You will work in an international environment with English as the working language, applying DevOps practices and contributing to cloud integration, SLAs, KPIs, and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in IT production support and/or technical project management.
• Experience with Level 3 production support environments.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, middleware, and application production.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD environments.
• Understanding of Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Cloud fundamentals certification or demonstrable experience with cloud projects.
• Experience with project management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or Jira Portfolio.
• Knowledge of Linux, WebSphere, Oracle, Autosys, CFT, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to manage projects end to end, considering time, budget, resources, and quality constraints.
• Ability to define and apply appropriate project management methodologies.
• Strong risk anticipation and management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of IT processes, governance, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent English is mandatory; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 production support across servers, storage, networks, middleware and applications.
• Manage end-to-end IT projects within timelines, budget and quality commitments.
• Act as main contact for assigned IT projects, coordinating technical teams, contributors, and stakeholders.
• Implement technical architectures solutions supporting business applications and ensure their transition into production.
• Coordinate technical contributors and manage project budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Prepare and provide project reporting to management.
• Organize and coordinate project governance meetings, including validation, monitoring, and steering committees.
• Ensure that production and application support teams have the required knowledge and autonomy to maintain operational conditions.
• Identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and improved collaboration across technical and production environments.
• Define and validate SLAs and KPIs for the production support scope.
• Ensure the integration of cloud solutions, obsolescence management, decommissioning, cost management, and technical/application resilience within projects.
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure security, financial, technical, and operational requirements are met.
• Anticipate and manage project risks, dependencies, resources, and constraints.
• Understand business needs and translate them into IT requirements.
• Support the deployment of new working methods and tools, including DevOps, Agile, and Move2Cloud.
• Provide technical expertise across production environments, including Linux, WebSphere, Oracle, Autosys, CFT, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Work in an international environment with technical and functional stakeholders, using English as the main working language.
