Decskill, an IT consulting company with 10+ years in the market, seeks a Production Support Engineer to join its multi-national team. Based in a global production environment, you will monitor, support, and optimize group applications across Windows and Linux systems, databases, and middleware.

You will implement automation and collaborate across technical teams to maintain high availability and performance. Fluent English is mandatory.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in production/application support in a complex IT environment.
• Strong administration experience on Windows and Linux/Unix.
• Experience with IIS, .NET, WCF, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, Java EE, and/or Nginx.
• Familiar with monitoring/scheduling tools such as Geneos, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, DollarUniverse.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, and SQL.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform.
• Good understanding of production processes and change/release management.
• Strong incident and problem management skills (ITIL).
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities, work well under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams and learn new technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support and project delivery for group applications in a global production environment.
• Support production elements of Referential applications as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Monitor, manage, and improve availability and performance across presentation, application, middleware, and database layers.
• Provide escalation coverage within a global Follow The Sun support model.
• Proactively manage capacity of production applications.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools for administration, monitoring, and production activities.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to investigate incidents and resolve production issues promptly.
• Respond to incidents under pressure with a focus on restoring normal service.
• Participate in change, release, incident, and problem management processes.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and learning across technologies.
