Emagine is seeking a Product Owner Lead to join a collaborative project environment in Portugal. This role targets an experienced Product Owner with a strong understanding of software development and cloud-based products, to own product delivery and work with Product Management and Engineering teams.

You’ll translate business needs into clear requirements, prioritize the backlog, and ensure delivery of high-impact features.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner.
• Experience delivering cloud-based software products/projects.
• Good understanding of software development and web services.
• Knowledge and practical experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience working closely with Engineering, Developers, Tech Leads, and Product Managers.
• Strong experience with backlog management, prioritization, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar product and delivery tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Professional level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, aligning with business value.

Emagine is seeking a Product Owner Lead to join a collaborative and dynamic project environment in Portugal. This role is ideal for an experienced Product Owner with a strong understanding of software development and cloud-based products, looking to take ownership of product delivery and work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Tech Leads, Developers, and UI/UX teams to translate business needs into clear product requirements, prioritize the backlog, and ensure successful delivery of high-impact product features.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business value and product priorities.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and acceptance tests.
• Work closely with Engineering, Tech Leads, and Developers to clarify requirements and support effective delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to align on features, priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations.
• Work with UI/UX teams to support the definition and evolution of product features and user experiences.
• Review prototypes and proofs of concept, assessing their technical feasibility before development.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and help ensure the right features are delivered at the right time.
• Validate delivered features against customer and business needs through feedback and usability insights.

What We’re Looking For

• Technical background or academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Location & Eligibility

• Candidates must be based in Portugal.
• Hybrid working model - 2/3x per week, Lisbon.
