Job summary

Jobleader is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Porto, Portugal to oversee daily restaurant operations, staff scheduling, inventory control, and customer service. You will lead a team, monitor costs, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive profitability while maintaining high hygiene standards.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory, budgeting and customer service.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; English fluency; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management and customer service.
• Create weekly schedules for front and back of house staff to ensure efficiency.
• Monitor food and beverage costs to maintain profitability.
• Train and motivate staff to provide exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the restaurant.
