UMO seeks a seasoned Platform Lead to steer the Platform squad, owning production services and the workflow engine. You will craft AI-assisted development practices, protect the system with robust security and auditing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features weekly.

Lead a Go/TypeScript backend stack, drive CI/CD, IaC, and observability, while balancing fast delivery with long-term maintainability in a regulated fintech setting.

Qualificações

• 5+ years as a senior engineer leading an engineering team.
• Deep Go and TypeScript production experience across services.
• Experience building tooling, platforms, or infrastructure used by other engineers.
• Experience with durable workflow engines (Temporal).
• Experience in regulated fintech, banking, or digital assets.
• Designing scalable, fault-tolerant microservices on cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with AI-assisted development practices.
• Strong communication and leadership in English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow a high-performing backend squad; own outcomes end-to-end.
• Architect, build, and operate Go/TypeScript backend services, including Temporal workflows.
• Own engineering machinery: CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Helm, GitOps), observability and delivery metrics.
• Drive technical planning, refactoring, and code reviews balancing speed and maintainability.
• Translate regulatory requirements (DORA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR) into secure implementations.
• Coordinate with Engineering Management, Product Leads, QA, and DevOps to plan and decompose work.
