UMO is building a data platform to serve a unified, AI-powered money platform across fiat, crypto, and investments. We seek a Senior Data Engineer to lead the Data squad, owning architecture, pipelines, and data governance.

You’ll work across Go and TypeScript stacks, mentor engineers, and partner with global teams to deliver production-ready data products weekly. You’ll define architecture for high-load ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time processing, and regulatory-compliant data residency.

Qualificações

• Senior engineer with 5+ years leading an engineering team and setting architectural direction.
• Deep Go expertise for production-grade backend systems.
• Experience building CDC/ELT pipelines and event-driven data architectures (NATS, Kafka).
• Hands-on PostgreSQL and ClickHouse in regulated multi-jurisdiction environments.
• FinTech data platforms experience in regulated fintech or digital assets.
• Experience integrating AI agents into engineering workflows (Cursor, Claude).
• Strong communication and leadership, cross-team collaboration.
• English fluency (B2+) for global alignment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, guide, and grow a high-performing data/backend squad; own outcomes end-to-end.
• Define and evolve the data platform architecture for robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Architect storage and data flows to satisfy residency, segregation, auditability.
• Design event-driven data flows and CDC pipelines into the warehouse.
• Integrate AI tooling into daily engineering workflows to boost productivity.
• Ensure data observability and reliability across PostgreSQL and ClickHouse stacks.
