Job summary

Foxys IT Services is seeking an independent Deskside Technician to provide on-demand IT support for end-user devices at corporate locations in Lisbon. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for desktops and laptops, with responsibility for imaging, security, and software rollout.

Responsibilities include managing desktop incidents to resolution, IMAC and desk-side support, hardware replacements, patch updates, and VIP support at client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows 7 OS.
• Knowledge of AD and smart hands and feet support.
• Experience in supporting MAC devices and tablets.
• Experience with Service Management tool ServiceNow.
• Good understanding of EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office and Outlook; familiarity with Lync, VPN, and mobile device support.

Responsibilities

• Manage Desktop Devices (hardware, software, and connectivity) incidents through to resolution.
• Manage IMAC and desk-side support services.
• Manage hard and soft break-fix services for laptops and desktops.
• Provide standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance on Desktop Devices throughout their lifecycle.
• Support, manage, optimize and maintain desktop configuration and installation, including patch updates and hardware replacements.
• Analyze Service Desk calls to identify user training needs and automation opportunities.
• Ensure each Desktop Device has the appropriate Desktop image.
• Monitor security profiles and antivirus on all Desktop Devices and address non-compliance.
• Provide VIP support for Deskside issues and be the site IT contact when needed.
