Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced Redis Operations Engineer to manage Redis platforms across multiple environments. You will design and support Redis Sentinel services, ensure high availability, and participate in cluster evaluations.

You will own monitoring and observability, respond to incidents, and automate tasks with Ansible, Docker, Git, and scripting. English fluency is required, and a hybrid work model is offered.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in middleware, platform, SRE, or production operations within critical environments.
• Hands-on experience with Redis administration, including Sentinel, replication, failover, and recovery.
• Solid experience with Linux, Docker/containerization tools, and TLS/certificate management for secure connectivity.
• Automation skills using Ansible, Git, and scripting languages such as Shell or Python.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools, capacity analysis, and incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Fluency in English (C1 level) for effective communication.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Redis platforms across DEV, SIM, UAT, and production environments, managing health checks, configuration, lifecycle, patching, and recovery.
• Design, deploy, and support highly available Redis Sentinel services, contributing to evaluation of Redis Cluster options.
• Take ownership of monitoring and observability for Redis quorum, replication, synchronization, failover, memory, persistence, and service health.
• Provide L2/L3 incident response, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement remediation for Redis availability, persistence, and performance issues.
• Automate installation, configuration, validation, and recurring operational activities using Ansible, Docker, Git, and scripting (Shell/Python).
• Define and apply robust security controls, including TLS, authentication, ACLs, key-prefix namespaces, and certificate handling.

What will you do?
