Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking an MS-SQL DBA to strengthen our database operations in a hybrid Lisbon-based team. You will manage MS-SQL Server environments, leverage Azure SQL, and ensure security, backups, and performance through monitoring and automation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional MS-SQL DBA experience.
• Understanding of MS-SQL Server fundamentals: queries, indexes, backups, monitoring.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments, with scripting (PowerShell a plus).
• Familiarity with MS-SQL within an AZURE environment.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow expertise in database administration with structured troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of high-availability features (AlwaysOn, clustering) and Oracle databases is an advantage.

• Assist with daily database operations, including monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and performance checks.
