Job summary

EPAM Systems in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Sample Manager LIMS Engineer for a hybrid role. You will provide post‑implementation support, configuration and enhancements for Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS in a SaaS environment to keep lab operations running smoothly.

You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to maintain system integrity, manage configurations and access, troubleshoot incidents and drive ITIL‑aligned change and problem management while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• L2/L3 application support experience within ITIL-aligned service environments.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS versions of Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS (21.x/21.3).
• Proficiency with SampleManager configuration tools and reporting capabilities.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting in SampleManager.
• Understanding of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS.
• Collaborate with lab users and IT teams to address system needs.
• Manage system configuration, user access, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot incidents and minimize downtime.
• Support change and problem management per ITIL.
• Maintain documentation of processes and changes.
• Assist with reports, dashboards, workflows and integrations.
