ME Lisbon, part of Meliá Hotels International, seeks a General Manager to lead the flagship luxury property in Lisbon. You will drive overall strategy, guest experience, and financial performance, overseeing rooms, F&B, events, wellness, and entertainment while building a top-tier, guest-centric team.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in luxury/hospitality, strong budgeting and leadership skills, and fluency in Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a General Manager in luxury, lifestyle, or premium hospitality environments.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting, revenue performance, and profitability.
• Experience leading complex hotel operations and multidisciplinary teams in international environments.
• Experience in repositioning projects or major property transformations is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep knowledge of luxury and lifestyle hospitality segments and current industry trends.
• Ability to act as a brand ambassador and represent the hotel internally and externally.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish language skills will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Leading the overall hotel strategy to achieve operational, commercial, financial, and guest experience objectives.
• Positioning ME Lisbon as a benchmark in the luxury lifestyle segment and maximizing visibility and performance.
• Developing and executing the hotel's strategic plan in line with brand standards and corporate objectives.
• Building, inspiring, and leading a high-performing team with a culture of excellence and guest-centricity.
• Ensuring the highest standards across hotel operations including rooms, F&B, events, wellness, and entertainment.
• Driving profitability through resource management, cost optimization, and revenue maximization.
• Monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities for GOP, EBITDA, and guest satisfaction targets.
• Strengthening relationships with ownership, strategic partners, and local authorities.
• Leading commercial and marketing strategies to reinforce the hotel’s market position.
• Ensuring compliance with legal, safety, sustainability, and corporate governance requirements.
