ME Lisbon, part of Meliá Hotels International, seeks a General Manager to lead the luxury hotel and deliver outstanding guest experiences in Lisbon. You will drive the overall strategy, position the property in the luxury lifestyle segment, and ensure alignment with ME by Meliá brand standards and corporate objectives.

You will build and inspire a high-performing team, manage budgets and revenue, foster a culture of excellence, and represent the brand to guests, owners, and partners.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a General Manager in luxury, lifestyle, or premium hospitality environments, ideally with a strong focus on Food & Beverage and guest experiences.
• A solid track record of leading complex hotel operations and multidisciplinary teams within international environments.
• Previous experience in repositioning projects, or major property transformations is highly desirable.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting, revenue performance, and profitability.
• Demonstrated success in leading large teams, developing talent, and building high-performance cultures.
• A strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep knowledge of the luxury and lifestyle hospitality segments, as well as current industry trends.
• The ability to act as a brand ambassador and represent the hotel both internally and externally.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required. Spanish language skills will be considered a strong advantage.

• Leading the overall hotel strategy, ensuring the achievement of operational, commercial, financial, and guest experience objectives.
• Positioning ME Lisbon as a benchmark in the luxury lifestyle segment, maximizing its visibility, reputation, and business performance.
• Developing and executing the hotel's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with ME by Meliá brand standards and corporate objectives.
• Building, inspiring, and leading a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, collaboration, and guest-centricity.
• Ensuring the highest standards of quality across all hotel operations, including rooms, food & beverage, events, wellness, and entertainment experiences.
• Driving profitability through effective resource management, cost optimization, and revenue maximization.
• Monitoring financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring the achievement of GOP, EBITDA, and guest satisfaction targets.
• Strengthening relationships with ownership, strategic partners, local authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Leading commercial and marketing strategies in collaboration with corporate and local teams to reinforce the hotel's positioning within the market.
• Ensuring full compliance with all legal, safety, sustainability, and corporate governance requirements.
