Job summary

Taleo Consulting is based in Lisbon, Portugal, and is seeking a Business Manager in Financial Services to drive end-to-end growth in the Portuguese market. You will prospect banks, insurers and asset managers, manage key accounts, and lead a team of consultants across the country.

This role requires autonomy, initiative and a results-driven mindset, with the potential to build your own business unit and contribute to Taleo’s international growth.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years as a Business Manager/BD/Account Manager in consulting/IT services or staffing.
• Exposure to finance, banking or insurance is a real asset.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a portfolio of key accounts in Portugal across banking, insurance and capital markets.
• Identify new business opportunities and build long-term partnerships with decision-makers (CIOs, HR Directors, business line heads).
• Act as the entrepreneur of your scope: from client relationship to mission follow-up and profitability.
• Build and lead your own team of consultants, overseeing sourcing and professional development.
• Actively contribute to Taleo’s commercial strategy and growth in Portugal, coordinating with the group’s other offices.
