Fyld is seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our infrastructure team. You will manage Linux servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian), implement security hardening, handle monitoring and incident response, and contribute to automation with Ansible.

You should have 4+ years of hands-on Linux experience, strong scripting skills, and solid networking knowledge. The role offers collaboration within agile projects and opportunities for continuous training in a values-driven environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field
• 4+ years of professional experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or similar role
• Experience in administration, configuration and maintenance of Linux systems
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat, Ubuntu, Debian or similar distributions
• Strong knowledge of Linux command line and Bash scripting
• Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS and SSH
• Experience administering web servers (Apache/Nginx)
• Understanding of storage, filesystems, permissions, users and access management
• Experience implementing Linux security and hardening practices (SELinux/AppArmor, firewall)
• Backup, recovery and system maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of system logging and monitoring tools
• Experience with automation and configuration management (Ansible)
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and production incidents
• Understanding of high availability and reliability concepts
• Ability to document procedures and follow best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Agile environments
• Fluency in Portuguese and English

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of virtualisation technologies, such as VMware, KVM or Hyper‑V
• Experience with Docker or containerised environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts
• Experience with Python or additional scripting languages
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB administration
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools
