Fyld is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and operate reliable, scalable, self-service platforms that empower development teams to deliver software efficiently.

The role requires deep knowledge of Linux, cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/OpenTofu), CI/CD, and a focus on reliability, security and observability. You will collaborate with software and infra teams to automate and improve platforms.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps or similar role.
• Experience designing, implementing and operating cloud or internal developer platforms.

We’re looking for an experienced Platform Engineer focused on building and operating reliable, scalable and self-service platforms that enable development teams to deliver software efficiently.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps or a similar role
• Professional experience designing, implementing and operating cloud or internal developer platforms
• Strong knowledge of Linux and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, OpenTofu or similar
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience building and maintaining self-service infrastructure or developer tooling
• Good understanding of networking, security and identity in cloud environments
• Experience with Git and Git-based development workflows
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash or similar
• Understanding of Kubernetes workloads, deployments, services, ingress and configuration management
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability practices
• Ability to automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks
• Strong understanding of reliability, scalability and infrastructure best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with software development and infrastructure teams
• Fluency in English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with OpenShift
• Knowledge of Helm and GitOps
• Experience with Argo CD, Flux or similar tools
• Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with Backstage or Internal Developer Portals
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
• Experience designing developer self-service platforms
• Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications
