Job summary

Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club in Portugal is seeking a proactive Learning & Development lead to design and manage training programmes across onboarding, service excellence, brand values and compliance. You will coordinate with department heads to identify needs and build engaging content for a world-class hospitality team.

You will manage external suppliers, administer a sophisticated LMS, measure training impact and drive budget discipline.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR or Hospitality preferred.
• Experience in Training & Development/Learning & Development.
• Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs with department leaders and contribute to the annual training calendar.
• Design, update and facilitate onboarding, service excellence, brand values and compliance training.
• Manage external training suppliers: sourcing, quotes, contracting, invoicing and quality review.
• Coordinate training schedules with operational teams to minimize disruption to daily activities.
• Administer the LMS/digital learning platform: enrolments, licences, completions and reporting.
• Measure training effectiveness (attendance, satisfaction, impact) and recommend improvements.
• Refresh learning materials based on feedback, audits and operational needs.
• Track training budget spend and report cost per head.
• Produce monthly L&D and engagement dashboards.
