Job summary

Bosch Aveiro is seeking a senior purchasing leader to guide a seven-person team across global and matrix environments. You will own project purchasing, supplier negotiations, and category strategies to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with R&D, Quality, Logistics, and manufacturing to drive dual sourcing, localization, and supply resilience for electronic components.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, strategic sourcing or supplier management.
• Experience leading purchasing professionals.
• Experience in project purchasing and/or New Product Introduction (NPI) is highly valued.
• Experience working with international suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders in a global organization.
• Experience within electronics or electronic components purchasing is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of seven buyers/category professionals in a global and matrix organization.
• Translate department objectives into clear team priorities, individual responsibilities, and measurable deliverables.
• Plan workload and resources, resolve priority conflicts, and ensure continuity during peaks, absences, or critical escalations.
• Conduct regular team meetings, one-to-ones, target discussions, and structured development conversations.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, respectful communication, and a high-performance culture across regions and functions.
• Ensure adherence to purchasing governance, processes, approval requirements, compliance standards, and RASIC responsibilities.
