- Experience leading purchasing professionals in a global matrix organization.
- Experience in project purchasing and New Product Introduction (NPI) is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of RFQs, sourcing decisions and supplier negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of seven buyers/category professionals in a global matrix organization.
- Drive supplier involvement from early design phases through sourcing decisions and series launch.
- Own project purchasing milestones, supplier deliverables, and cost targets.
- Coordinate RFQs, quotations, sourcing recommendations, negotiation packages, and award decisions.
- Identify and mitigate project risks related to capacity, lead time, tooling, lifecycle, localization, and supply continuity.
- Ensure transparent status reporting and timely escalation of deviations affecting cost, quality, or launch readiness.
