Mercor seeks a meticulous Korean-language annotator to structure and transcribe Korean documents for AI training data. You will bound and classify page regions, bind relationships to figures or tables, and reproduce Hangul text with exactness.

The role emphasizes accuracy and consistency across diverse layouts, with peer review for quality control. The ideal candidate has native Korean fluency, experience in transcription/editorial work, and comfort with handwritten or multi-column documents.

Qualificações

• Must be a native Korean speaker with full command of Hangul, including hanja where it appears in documents.
• Experience in bilingual transcription, translation, editorial work, or AI training data is preferred.
• Character-level accuracy is critical; a single incorrect jamo is a defect.
• Ability to apply a consistent taxonomy across hundreds of pages.
• Comfort with unfamiliar layouts: multi-column layouts, handwriting, and varied scripts.

Responsabilidades

• Source publicly accessible Korean PDFs in assigned document types with multimodal elements.
• Annotate page structure: bound regions, assign types, and reading-order indices.
• Record relationships: link regions to parent figures/tables.
• Transcribe faithfully: reproduce Hangul text exactly, flag illegible regions.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, dimensions, and handwriting/diagrams flags.
• Review a colleague's work: undergo second-expert review as part of workflow.
