Mercor is seeking a native Korean annotator to accurately bound and transcribe Korean documents, including handwriting and hanja where present. You will annotate structure, ensure reading order, and assign relationships between regions and figures or tables.

Applicants should have experience in bilingual transcription or AI training data, with a focus on exact character-level accuracy and systematic work across diverse layouts.

Qualificações

• Native Korean speaker with full command of Hangul, including hanja where it appears
• Experience in bilingual transcription, translation, editorial work, or AI training data preferred
• Exactness: character-level accuracy matters, a single wrong jamo is a defect

Responsabilidades

• Open and check a task: PDFs are uploaded for you; confirm page is Korean, legible, real content, no personal details
• Annotate structure: bound every meaningful region and assign component type and reading-order index
• Record relationships: link regions to the figure or table they belong to via parent IDs
• Transcribe faithfully: reproduce all text exactly as in Hangul, flag illegible regions
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, page dimensions, and flags for tables, formulas, handwriting
• Review a colleague's work: second Korean expert reviews end-to-end
