• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

We are hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Porto Portugal As a Junior Sous Chef you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operations creating new menu items and overseeing food production

This is an entry-level position for someone with a passion for cooking and a desire to learn from experienced chefs

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation activities
• Help create and develop new menu items that meet high-quality standards
• Oversee food production and ensure consistency in taste presentation and portioning
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and quality
• Ensure proper sanitation and food safety guidelines are followed at all times
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed

Compensation

This position offers a salary of $1400 per month plus benefits including accommodation We also offer opportunities for career growth within our company
