Cross Border Talents in Porto is hiring a Junior Accounts Receivable / O2C Specialist to support daily finance activities, including invoice processing, payment allocation, and updating customer accounts. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely follow-ups on overdue invoices, and collaboration with internal teams.

Fluency in German and English is required, along with a relevant bachelor's degree and 6 months AR/O2C experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) or Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fluent in German (C1/C2) and English (C1).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support invoice processing, payment allocation, and customer account updates.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with payment follow-ups.
• Review financial documents and verify customer account information.
• Assist with account reconciliations and investigate basic billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update information in internal systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve payment and account-related queries.
• Follow established financial procedures, internal controls, and quality standards.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate complex cases to senior colleagues.
• Meet KPIs related to accuracy, productivity, processing times, and quality.
• Participate in training to develop knowledge of finance systems and O2C processes.
