MoOngy in Central Lisbon is seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist to monitor customer accounts, pursue overdue payments, and support billing discrepancies. The role starts on-site for 6 months and becomes hybrid thereafter, with opportunities for international mobility within MoOngy’s Europe network.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Business Administration or related field, strong Excel skills, and fluent English.

Qualificações

• Degree or vocational qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
• Candidates with a high school diploma and relevant experience in accounts receivable, collections, or administrative roles will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and manage customer accounts receivable balances.
• Contact customers regarding overdue payments and outstanding invoices.
• Follow up on payment commitments and ensure timely collection.
• Assist in investigating and resolving billing and invoicing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and collection activities.
• Update information in ERP systems and internal databases.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support effective collection processes.

Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Central Lisbon – On-site during the first 6 months | Hybrid thereafter

Eligibility

• Already based in Portugal with a valid work permit

We are looking for a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring customer accounts, following up on overdue payments, managing payment commitments, and supporting the resolution of billing discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage customer accounts receivable balances;
• Contact customers regarding overdue payments and outstanding invoices;

What We Are Looking For

• Degree or vocational qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred);

• Strong digital skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
• Experience using ERP systems or other business management tools;
